It had me at the feta...

This recipe is pretty good. I might tweak the sauce a little next time (more of it, for sure) but I'd say this was a tasty recipe. Much better than the last thing I made up on my own. Next is this one. All in all I'm a fan of this little grain, er, seed.


(And no April, I haven't tried the pilaf recipe yet. I keep forgetting to buy the peppers.)

Ok, so this one is sooooo not glamorous and yet I'm relieved to have it over. This week I have attended a barbeque, 2 dinners, and a dance for the "over 30" singles through my church.
Verdict? Never again.

The goal though was to go, and now I know. Internet dating has never seemed so painless.

I count this as done now that I've actively recycled paper for an entire year. Now however, some friends have curbside so I have added plastics 1&2 and cans to the list. It's such a habit I'll never be able to go back if I try - which was the whole point!!

i've been wanting to begin a memory book (aka journal) where i write down for you the precious goings-ons in our lives as you grow. i've found the book, now i just need to remember to write in it. either way, i adore you, and i hope you know that.

they are so not perfect, but the process was fun and they taste alright. i've started scheming up new flavors for the next batch!

the embroidered one was finished months ago. the other one i whipped up in 10 minutes this weekend because i decided that if i waited to embroider it too, i'd never ever complete the thing. you know what? i think i like the plain one better. either way, they're done!!
